The Jury Board of the XI International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians will include more than 30 outstanding musicians and professors from 14 countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Japan, R. Korea, Hungary, Finland , Estonia, Great Britain, Spain, Uzbekistan).*

The opening ceremony of the XI International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians will be broadcasted at the official website of the competition www.tchaikovsky-competition.net on October 22, 2022. Auditions for the first two rounds of the competition will be held online from October 23, 2022. Initially, competition auditions were supposed to be held live in the city of Chengdu (China) in 2020, however, due to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the dates of the competition were changed several times. The exact dates and venue of the final round of the competition, which will be held in a more familiar format of live auditions, will be announced later.

Tchaikovsky International Competition for Young Musicians, celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2022, is the world’s largest professional competition for young classical musicians. Since 1992 the competition has been held 10 times in the cities of Russia, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Japan, Korea and China. The competition is organized by the Association of Tchaikovsky Competition Stars with the support of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, St. Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. The Association of Tchaikovsky Competition Stars is the oldest public non-profit organization in Russia.
